Welcome to my webpage! This website serves as an eclectic collection of my personal and professional activites. My grandmother once told me, "Never write anything you aren't okay with seeing published for the world to read!" I will attempt to heed those words and not publish anything on this website that I'm not prepared for the whole world to see.

Throughout this site, I have incorporated information about my research background, including my work in Sol-gel derived materials, nanocrystalline dye-sensitized solar cells and small molecule organic photovoltaics. I am a bit of a technophile who is burdened with a short term memory. So, over time - as I've developed new software or hardware techniques I've written up how-to reminders for myself which I have chosen to share with any one who cares.

My non-science activities include film (I have links to my friends who have chosen full time careers in films as well as the sets I've worked on) and education support. It is my assertion that all of our current problems in society would be resolved if we could develop a more useful and uniform education system that prepared people for the free-for-all society that is the 21st century. I am a consistent volunteer or part-time worker within my local school districts. I have included links to those activities to encourage any and all to consider joining me.
